Canada Anemone is a spreading native groundcover with bright white flowers in late spring. It forms a dense colony, making it ideal for stabilizing moist soils. The blooms attract pollinators, and the foliage stays attractive through the season. Best suited for sun to part shade and consistently moist conditions.
Our selection of native plants in 38-plug flats is available by pre-order only from March 1 to May 15, 2026, and will not be sold at the plant sale. Flats are provided by Midwest Groundcovers through their Natural Garden Natives line and feature pesticide-free, local-ecotype native plants.
All pre-orders must be picked up at the Sag Moraine Native Plant Sale on Saturday, June 6, 2026, between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm CT at Moraine Valley Community College (9000 W College Pkwy, Parking Lot D3, Palos Hills, IL 60465).
All sales are final and non-refundable.
