Dwarf Bush-honeysuckle is a tough, adaptable native shrub with soft yellow tubular flowers in early to mid-summer. Its arching stems and dense foliage make it an excellent choice for dry shade or challenging sites. The blooms attract pollinators, and the plant spreads gently to form colonies. It performs well in part shade but tolerates sun.
Our selection of native shrubs and trees are available by pre-order only from March 1 to May 15, 2026, and will not be sold at the plant sale. All native shrubs and trees are provided by Midwest Groundcovers Nursery.
Orders must be picked up at the Sag Moraine Native Plant Sale on Saturday, June 6th, between 9 AM and 2 PM CT at Moraine Valley Community College (9000 W College Pkwy, Parking Lot D3, Palos Hills, IL 60465).
