Jacob’s Ladder produces clusters of soft blue, bell-shaped flowers in mid-spring. Fern-like foliage adds delicate texture to shaded plantings. It prefers moist soils and part to full shade. The flowers attract early pollinators.
Our selection of native plants in 38-plug flats is available by pre-order only from March 1 to May 15, 2026, and will not be sold at the plant sale. Flats are provided by Midwest Groundcovers through their Natural Garden Natives line and feature pesticide-free, local-ecotype native plants.
All pre-orders must be picked up at the Sag Moraine Native Plant Sale on Saturday, June 6, 2026, between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm CT at Moraine Valley Community College (9000 W College Pkwy, Parking Lot D3, Palos Hills, IL 60465).
All sales are final and non-refundable.
