Kalm’s St. John’s Wort is a small, mounded shrub covered in cheerful yellow flowers in midsummer. The blooms are followed by ornamental seed capsules that extend seasonal interest. It performs well in full sun and tolerates dry, rocky, or sandy soils. This adaptable shrub provides excellent pollinator support and brightens tough landscape spots.
Our selection of native shrubs and trees are available by pre-order only from March 1 to May 15, 2026, and will not be sold at the plant sale. All native shrubs and trees are provided by Midwest Groundcovers Nursery.
Orders must be picked up at the Sag Moraine Native Plant Sale on Saturday, June 6th, between 9 AM and 2 PM CT at Moraine Valley Community College (9000 W College Pkwy, Parking Lot D3, Palos Hills, IL 60465).
All sales are final and non-refundable.
