Prairie Dropseed forms graceful, fountain-like mounds of fine-textured green foliage. In late summer, airy flower panicles rise above the leaves and release a subtle, coriander-like fragrance. The foliage turns warm shades of gold and copper in fall. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil and is stunning when planted in masses.
