Tufted Hairgrass forms soft clumps of fine foliage topped with airy, cloud-like flower panicles in early summer. The delicate blooms catch the light beautifully. It prefers moist soils and performs well in sun to part shade. This grass adds elegance and softness to rain gardens and naturalistic plantings.
