Yellow Coneflower features drooping golden petals surrounding tall central cones. It blooms in midsummer and adds height to prairie plantings. The flowers attract pollinators, and birds feed on the seeds. It prefers full sun and well-drained soils.
Our selection of native plants in 50-plug flats is available by pre-order only from March 1 to May 15, 2026, and will not be sold at the plant sale. Flats are provided by Pizzo Native Plant Nursery and feature pesticide-free, local-ecotype native plants.
