Incorporating native plants into your home or business landscape is one of the best things you can do for the local ecosystem. But with so many plants available, where do you start?

We’ll introduce you to native plants that you’ll love in your suburban landscape: Easy to care for, and neat in appearance, your neighbors will be flocking to check out your new garden additions.

Catherine Bryla is co-founder and President of Sag Moraine Native Plant Community. After a quarter-century as a small business owner, Catherine now leverages her entrepreneurial skills to share her passion for native plants and their role in supporting pollinators and birds, especially in a suburban environment.

Shamim Graff serves Sag Moraine as Interpretive Outreach Director. Shamin holds a Masters degree in Zoology and enjoys inspiring others to find their own connections to the natural world. Like Catherine, Shamim has a deep understanding of the native plants that are appropriate for small home landscapes.
