Since 1988, the International Dark Sky Association, at www.darksky.org, has been the global leader on artificial outdoor light pollution, its consequences and how to save our night sky. The IDA has a presence in more than 50 countries. It has almost 500 delegates globally. Currently, there are more than 170 IDA certified dark sky places.
Adam Kreuzer has been our local delegate for more than two years. Before volunteering to be a delegate, Adam was the Chair of the Glen Ellyn Environmental Commission. He has also advocated for the Sierra Club. More generally, for many, many years, Adam has advocated for our environment, which, of course, includes the skies above.
