Pollinators are responsible for 80% of flowering plants and are vital to our food supply. In recent decades their numbers have been declining at an alarming pace. However, with a few simple strategies, you can attract and support bees and an array of other pollinators.
Kim is an environmental horticulturist and ecological landscape designer specializing in native plants. Based in New York, She teaches at the New York Botanical Garden, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, The Native Plant Center in NY, Rutgers Home Gardeners School and several other institutions.
Kim is also a celebrated writer whose articles and books are helping people across the country make their landscapes a place of healing and ecosystem restoration. She was awarded the Silver Award of Achievement by the Garden Writers Association for their 2014, 2015 and 2017 Media Awards Program.
